my trip to australia was a joyful one... the 8-day stay in Gold Coast was a memoriable one... it all started off with a spacious hotel room... with a nice and breezy seaview. well... Sg, very hard to get such, i guess..??
the weather there was a hot, yet cooling one? sounds contradicting, is it? the hot, scorching sun shining up there, but having cool wind blowing onto ur face, consistently. how lovely the weather is.
anyway.. my friends and i visited a couple of the theme parks, such as well-known Movie world, Seaworld and WEt n wild. IT's pretty fun there...
i shall first start off with my movie world trip.
yeah, we managed to catch a glance of batman, and other warner bro's famous characters, such as bugs bunny and friends, scooby-doo etc.. statutes, and the "real" characters are out. but too bad, not a chance to take photos with them. disappointed.. anyway, we drop-by every single inch of the theme park, not missing any of the fun..
the exciting rides, are something shall not be missed. "superman is getting u out!!" and boom!! off u go, onto the 100kph ride! that shall be superman escape! the thrilling ride ended in less than probably 1.5 min??
Scooby scooby doo~ eww... pitch dark in there, u could hardly see anything ahead. filled with excitment in the ride, with the sharp turnings in the super fast speed. phew!
Lethal Weapon ride, is awesome!!! "Corkscrew" there seemed more exciting than ever... turning u 360o upside down 5 times!!! bringing u up to probably 8 storey high and down at a fast speed... with non-stop bends and dives, made me chill down the spine. pretty scary, eh? haha...
next is the seaworld.. like ermz.. sentosa?? or the zoo?? hm.. the smart dolphins and sealions performance is something interesting. hm... sealions do know how to clap! and be a "detective"...
the 4D video of SOS the planet was great. it was abt how crucial it is to save the planet, and how it affect the lives on earth. it's pretty much interesting, especially with the 4D effect!
the ride in the helicopter was nice, but short one. able to see the full view of the land, along the coast.. clear view of the vast sea and waves, jeez! Awesome!
in the last theme park, looked as if there are endless fun coming up. allowing u to try on the surfing.. and other water games. juz like some rides in the wild wild wet we got here, but with much more excitement! Tornado! falling from a great height. wee... splashh... down into the water, into the pool! slides from heights.. Woohoo.... ***
Kamikaze made the U-shape drop from an angle, an edge exciting.
one that we did not missed out is the surf-rider!!! riding on the surfboard, plummet you abt 30m high?? argh.... much scary as u watch from below. coz, it's much more exciting as u ride on!
we got up early juz to catch the sunrise there. well, there seemed no reason for us to missed the daybreak there. the rays from the sun was simply gorgeous! the way it rose from the other end of the earth, from the immeasurable sea. Wow...
not forgetting the fireworks over the new year eve, we were practically surrounded by the fireworks there.. from different side of Aust. nice leh!!!
Next we have, Wildlife currumbin Sanctuary was a new experience for me, probably. it looked very much like a Zoo.. but this time, with a close touch with them.
Kangaroos, hopping around in the area, seemed so much friendly, and is always hungry?? haha.. ok, something interesting. they can eat and poo at the same time!! the furry big sized animal, some seemed so energetic, hopping ard, while some are doing suntan, lazing on the ground. did they slept on their poos, it really wonders me. haha..
koalas are lazy animals, aint they? they appeared to be always sleeping, tugging themselves on the tree.. hardly any moments that they are awake?? probably, sleeping species in the day? hm... that's how they got the name, tree-bears, i guessed.
Venomous snakes looked so tamed animal under the care of the keepers. they dont bite the latter nor did they feel threatened under any circumstance! Are they really that malicious???
Golden Brushtail Possum is really very furry. seemed so unreal, like a soft toy? eh.. rather say, it feels like a rabbit. hehe... the yellow, golden animal is so docile...
last but not least, the INFINITY - the place filled with maze?? ermz.. i would say, more for creativity?? imagination, is all u need if u go to the place.
the "Haunted House" - which i thought, is not in the least bit of scary, was filled with creepy stuff... Bones, skulls, vampires, werewolves, all shown there. its much interesting there, with spiders, and white pointer shark!!! Behing the creaky door is all sorts of funny, crappy stuff.. woah...
okie, i enclosed some photos below.. well.. of course, a pic says a thousand words...!
bunny statute standing behind me!!

the dancing dolphins... in the air...

** the koala sleeping so soundly, hugging on the tree......

it's cute, isn't it??? this is Golden Brushtail Possum!!!

lovely kangaroo... "mummy.. i wanna be back to the pouch!!"

did u see, how beautiful the sun ray is??? ~~~
